HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Virginia Beach, VA)

Silverline Wren Arts Center is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on manager coaching for visitor services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on visitor services. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
