HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Virginia Beach, VA)

Summit Basin Legal Group is a Virginia Beach practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a large organisation of about 207 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on court deadlines. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with court deadlines. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
