HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Toledo, OH)

Lumen Ember Early Learning runs childcare centres in Toledo caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 93 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on classroom supplies. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
