HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Spokane, WA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Cobalt Insurance and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on catastrophe response. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
