HR Business Partner - manager coaching (San Jose, CA)

Summit Birch Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around San Jose. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on field inspections. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
