HR Business Partner - manager coaching (San Jose, CA)

Summit Rook Community Partners is a nonprofit in San Jose supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on volunteer shifts. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
