HR Business Partner - manager coaching (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Bright Markets and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on online orders. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
