HR Business Partner - manager coaching (San Diego, CA)

Fernwood Juniper Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around San Diego, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on outage response. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
