HR Business Partner - manager coaching (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Manufacturing and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. You would join a large organisation of about 261 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on scrap and rework. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
