HR Business Partner - manager coaching (San Diego, CA)

Fernwood Ridge Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around San Diego, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on policy renewals. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
