HR Business Partner - manager coaching (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Fern Arts Center Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on exhibitions. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with exhibitions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
