HR Business Partner - manager coaching (San Diego, CA)

Cedar River Community Partners is a San Diego charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 97 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on volunteer shifts. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
