HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Sacramento, CA)

Westbrook Yarrow Civic Services supports public agencies in Sacramento with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 141 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on procurement. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with procurement. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
