HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Richmond, VA)

Bright Iron Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Richmond. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on policy renewals. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
