HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Ember Staffing and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on candidate screening. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with candidate screening. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
