HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Richmond, VA)

Lumen Studio builds commercial and industrial projects around Richmond, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on subcontractor invoices. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
