HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Richmond, VA)

Westbrook Lantern Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Richmond, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on underwriting files. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
