HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Reno, NV)

Bluepeak Harbor Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Reno presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Reno. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on volunteer programmes. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer programmes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
