HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Reno, NV)

Summit Yarrow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Reno presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 163 people based in Reno. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on visitor services. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with visitor services. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
