HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Rook Learning Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on school calendars. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
