HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

Harborlight Amber Insurance Group is an insurance company in Louisville with claims and service teams. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer complaints. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
