HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Junction Construction Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 74 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
