HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

Fernwood Yarrow Legal Group is a law firm in Columbus serving businesses and individuals, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client files. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with client files. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
