HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

Fernwood Yarrow Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Oakland focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service installations. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
