HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

Northwind Yarrow Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Birmingham. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
