HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Ivory Civic Services and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
