HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

Lumen Ember Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Spokane plant. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 75 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on print quotes. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with print quotes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
