HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

Cedar Oak Transit Planning is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on manager coaching for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on route schedules. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
