HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

Fernwood Umber Inspection Services is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on manager coaching for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on certifications. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
