HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

Fernwood Thistle Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Jackson, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
