HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

Nova Umber Civic Services supports public agencies in Anchorage with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on constituent requests. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
