HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

Silverline Lantern Insurance Group is an insurance company in Detroit with claims and service teams. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer complaints. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
