HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

Northwind Mill Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Charlotte working with agencies and riders, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ridership counts. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
