HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Amberfield North Insurance and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 174 people based in Portland. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on underwriting files. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
