HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Juniper Civic Services and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Portland. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on procurement. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with procurement. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
