HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Oakland, CA)

Westbrook Orchard Arts Center Group is a cultural organisation in Oakland presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ticketing. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with ticketing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
