HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Oakland, CA)

Foxglove River Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Oakland, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on parts orders. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with parts orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
