HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Oakland, CA)

Redstone Maple Construction Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on manager coaching for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on project schedules. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
