HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Oakland, CA)

Fernwood Stone Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Oakland. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing disputes. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
