HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Oakland, CA)

Cedar Rowan Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Oakland, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on scheduling. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
