HR Business Partner - manager coaching (New Orleans, LA)

Silverline Beacon Water Authority is a public water utility serving the New Orleans area. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on capital projects. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
