HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Madison, WI)

Nova Cobalt Construction is a Madison contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on safety records. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
