HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Las Vegas, NV)

Cedar Corner Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Las Vegas, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing accounts. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
