HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Kansas City, MO)

Fernwood Forge Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Kansas City region. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on outage response. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
