HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Houston, TX)

Northwind Granite Manufacturing Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on manager coaching for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on tooling. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
