HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Houston, TX)

Harborlight Kestrel Staffing Group is a Houston staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on candidate screening. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with candidate screening. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
