HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Hartford, CT)

Westbrook Ashton Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Hartford, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 106 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on housekeeping schedules. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with housekeeping schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
