HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Hartford, CT)

Silverline Meadow Housing is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on manager coaching for maintenance stores, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 452 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on maintenance stores. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with maintenance stores. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
