HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Hartford, CT)

Nova Hollow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Hartford presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on event logistics. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with event logistics. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
