HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Fresno, CA)

Summit Willow Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Fresno and nearby communities, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on water quality. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
